I spent almost 30 years helping customers find perfect antique and collectible treasures for their home. Digging thru a ragged stack of vintage paper, I found this old print from the 1940’s. It shows Will Rogers, in a contemplative moment, writing, one of his pastimes.
I imagine JBR wrote this poem before Rogers died in 1935, but I haven’t been able to date it.
It’s so enlightening what I am learning about my great-grandfather, JBR.
